The secret lives of college students obviously is the use of marijuana. In Colorado this is not a very big secret. Marijuana use is on the rise, and some people are greatly concerned. This stems from a large racist campaign back in the 1930s called Reefer Madness.

 So parents of kids have been telling them that weed is bad. Then the kid gets to college and finds out pot might just be okay. Of course the kid is going to try it out. Luckily marijuana has never killed someone by using it, in and of itself. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that a big bale of cannibis might have fallen on someone and killed them that way, so excluding that. Even former surgeon general Joycelyn Elders supports legalization. The stressors of college lead students to find a coping method. Better marijuana than alcohol, Adderall, or anti depressants. They have all killed people.
