loneliness- Sadness because one has no friends or company
"There can only be one state of mind as you approach any profound test, total concentration, a spirit of togetherness, and strength." A mindful quote From former coach of the L.A Lakers, New York Knicks, and The Miami Heat, Pat Riley, Being nominated as coach of the year in, 1990, 1993, and 1997: has had the great obligation to bring about victories through the act of collaboration. Victorious not in isolation, but by involving his entire team, the award winning coach pulls everyone's strengths and weaknesses into a pile and sculpts something great out of it.
Just as the marveled coach has done; so can we, as in you and I, can bring out victories in everyday life, through collaboration. A mile marker may lie in front of your fellow neighbor just to get out of bed or to live. Our mindless scampering through the latest trends and accessories can let run our voluntary sympathy, we grow apart from with every feeling of worthlessness. But for the spark that can ignite a flame, one joyful good morning or simple, "how are you doing," can bring about an endless wave of emotion that beckons the call for kindness.
Though this task is not accomplished through one person alone, although I begins with one, it must be carried from one to another and so on. Like players on a court for the ball to be shot into the basket each player must give and receive the ball, in this case a random of kindness. The playing field isn't for the immature or illegible, but is made to coexist with strength and that is what we all have whether we like to express it or not. You and I must rise to the expectation kindness has on all of us. Our great test maybe the grim day we look ahead for, so we must strengthen ourselves to accomplish this load and not only contest but bring about a competition to lead others to this journey of success. So we mustn't lose concentration to the fact that we are all one on the adventure to reach the leisure of happiness. Iron sharpens iron, we must collide in such a way to create new exploration to a universe we encounter each day. The boat does don't find its way back shore without rope holding down the sails.

The Healing
This week on Painting with words, I would like to briefly talk to you about "Exploring the healing power of writing poetry" as the subtitle of my blog states. There have been hundreds of articles written by medical professionals, professional poets, and your average Joe on just how much of a positive result reading and writing poetry has upon us. As I was reading through articles on the positive results that researches have found on poetry and the human body, I found many things truly amazing. Such as, did you know that reading poetry and listening to music produce very similar results on the mind and body? Some therapists, believe that poetry is a highly effective tool in helping patients to cope with and overcome mental illness. I personally know just how strong the impact of writing poetry is, my life was bombarded with a series of life altering, painful, and heartbreaking events that simply overloaded my mind and sent me in to a dark, lonely and scary place. For reasons that I still am not sure of, I began simply writing things down as a way of dealing with my dwindling hope of ever being happy again. I guess it was just a instinctual thing that my mind and body did in order to try and save me from going to the point of no return. I have no fancy degree, no published books of poetry, but I have my heart, my soul, and an undying grasp to poetry. Thank you poetry!

Humanity, Definition:
1. The human race. Human beings as a collective
2. Humaneness; Benevolence, Compassion, Kindness, Sympathy, Tolerance.
A race composed of familiarity and consciousness, thus syncing thoughts to actions and contemplation to reality. Each breath we inhale to our lungs leaves the world with less oxygen that we hold for granted. Everything we do in a common place or even in our own homes leaves someone with more or less of one thing or the other. For instance, I enjoy the emptiness of a room and like to be alone but when some else comes in, my pleasure resides and, the existing being sitting next to me has overflowed to room capacity, or well at least that's how I see it. This feeling of expectation and disgust is too heavy to carry and I'm trying to release the strangle hold it has on my heart. In a ted talk I found holds truth to the fact that we have a natural obligation to come together and help one another out but for the last twenty years or so the necessity to pull each other up has rather died off and decomposed. But for our roots are strong and I believe we can regain our instinct of kindness.
A bee doesn't fly for freedom, but to bring back fruits of its labor to its hive.
